We need to establish the identity of a J. W. B. from Pierce City, Missouri. He was resident there in the 1880s, and he was Sunday (Sabbath) School superintendent in the Baptist church. He worked for the Pierce City Baptist College.
Usually, given this much information, we can come up with a name. Not this time. Can you help?

I have found "A History of the Baptists in Mossouri" but it was published in the year 1882 and examines the period until 1881. At pages 894-5 refers to the Pierce City Baptist College, but no mention of a J. W. B.

So, I suppose we have to look the period 1882-1889, in another publication.

Brite is mentioned in "A Reprint of Goodspeed's 1888 History of Lawrence County; Reprint Lawrence County Section of Goodspeed's Newton, Lawrence, Barry And McDonald Counties History; published by the Goodspeed Publishing Co., in 1888; Reprinted by Litho Printers Of Cassville, Missouri In 1973." as transcribed by Judy Johnson Reustle.
At page 95-96 we read of a J. W. Brite who was secretary of the Baptist Church (Clear Creek) of Peirce City (1877-1881).
Furtermore in your post "Incomplete fragment of a rough draft" (FRIDAY, JUNE 27, 2014) you write: "We do not know where or how he encountered Zion’s Watch Tower. His story is not told in the Watch Tower, but in a letter from J. W. Brite to J. H. Paton. Brite says that he “was expelled from his denomination for heresy.” Though Brite was introduced to Paton’s writing through him, Westcott did not advocate Universalism.[footnote 13 read: J. W. Brite; In Memoriam, The World’s Hope, February 15, 1892, page 61.]

Andrew Jukes of Woolwich, England, author of THE RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS, who was 80 years old at the time, wrote a letter in the late 1800s to J.W. Brite. In an extract of his letter about the criticisms he received on his book he wrote:
"...When it was printed, not only the religious magazines generally, but even some of my best and oldest friends, condemned me. I was charged by one dear soul with not believing the Bible, and denying the 'atonement,' and I know not what else; and a dear and honored brother in Christ, when he heard that I had been invited to a conference of Christian brethren in Switzerland, said, that if I was permitted to be present, or to take a part, he would not attend the meeting. I need not speak of things like this, I only refer to them to tell you to fear none of these things. The 'Truth' is stronger than all lies. If it is misrepresented and condemned and slain, it yet will rise again. Christ is the Truth, and he must go conquering and to conquer, and must reign till all his enemies are subject to him."
