William C. HIcks

Hicks was a resident of Union Mills, Indiana. He published for a few month a magazine entitled Voice of the Word. We have virtually no information about him and cannot find copies of his magazine. anyone?

Yes, that's the man. We have his book. A basic bio in in a manual of Michigan Lawyers. It's on blog 2

That's the wrong William C. Hicks. This one is an Episcopal priest. Not the same guy. Our W. C. Hicks was an Evangelical Adventist until 1884. After 1884 he stopped preaching, turned to law, and wrote a novel. He lived in Michigan from about 1885 until his death.
